API Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose

To ensure platform stability, protect all users, and maintain compliance with partner API terms (Google, Meta, TikTok), QVANTUS Agent enforces fair-use limits and anti-abuse controls on all API usage.

2. Rate Limits

Per-user and per-organization request throttling with configurable burst limits.
Rate limits vary by subscription plan (Starter, Pro, Enterprise).
Backoff and retry policies enforced for partner API calls.
HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) returned when limits are exceeded, with Retry-After header.

3. Acceptable Use

Use the platform and APIs only for their intended purpose.
Respect rate limits published by each partner API (Google Ads, Meta Marketing, TikTok Business).
Use data only for authorized business purposes with user consent where required.
Do not circumvent authentication, authorization, or rate-limiting mechanisms.

4. Prohibited Activities

Automated scraping, crawling, or unauthorized data extraction.
Using the API to create competing services.
Sharing API credentials or access tokens with unauthorized parties.
Sending bulk requests designed to overload or disrupt the service.
Using the platform to violate any third-party platform's terms of service.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

All API usage is logged for security, debugging, and compliance purposes.
Automated detection of anomalous usage patterns.
Violations may result in temporary throttling, suspension, or permanent termination of access.
We will attempt to notify you before taking enforcement action, except in cases of severe abuse.
